MEMOIRS OF A WARLOCK
This memoir is about a young man’s life story as it unfolded in New York City through turbulent times and spiritual growth in spite of difficult circumstances. It’s about people and their choices and purpose in life. The memoir is told in a story line of events that the author experienced with a select group of family, friends and teachers. It reveals the author’s resilience to ‘stay the course’ despite the distraction of life events and tragedies that many of us encounter in our lives. In addition, the memoir depicts a brief history of a Latino living in the U.S. facing the challenges of assimilation in an urban city and his self creation through the process of personal and social growth and self awareness.
Finally, at a mature age, the author is able to piece together his experiences and life lessons to create a memoir of fascinating insights about the human spirit in a tender, descriptive and compelling story. He realizes that everyone has a story to tell no matter how brief or painful, we all have valuable lessons to share. Moreover, we are all significant in God’s eyes and can choose to live in God’s grace at any time.
