ABOUT US

The Warlocks is an organization founded circa 1971 in Spanish Harlem (El Barrio). It was created out of the need to devise and protect a vehicle for organized activities and events for a group of youngsters living in a volatile and often unforgiving environment. Now we have grown up and understand our mission.

OUR MISSION

To continue to support each other and provide resources that will elevate our youth and communities in order to enrich all of our lives.

SUPPORTING OUR YOUTH AND COMMUNITY

We believe in “paying it forward.” This is why we will begin to establish a committee to generate funds in order to provide scholarship money to a graduating HS senior deserving of an opportunity to further their education.
We will donate part of our net proceeds from events, apparel and book sales toward this effort.

EDITORIAL

We are saddened to find out that a friend has passed away recently. He was a New York City Judge and a family man, Hon.Rueben Martino. Our condolences go out to the Martino family and friends. Ruben was a champion for justice and fair treatment of people. We will miss you Latin brother!

The CoronaVirus-19 continues to leave an aftermath of great uncertainty in all areas of daily living as we know it around the world. Some countries will react with favorable results while others choose to manipulate these times for their own personal gain. Countries will regroup and prepare for the next event, knowing it is just a matter of time.

America will be led by its individualist ideology and subservient to the government’s lack of control, whims, and mitigation. While some financial institutions/leaders will realize that its mission is no longer to solely make money for its stockholders, at any cost, but to secure the improvement of humanity and societies.

No one lives in isolation as we are forced to acknowledge around the world and some leaders now have embraced. No one is immune to the ravishes of ignorance and denial as we have just been strongly reminded and are trying to demand from all people. All of us need to insist accountability from our government.

“Essential” workers have a deeper meaning that society now realizes and admires. As Dr. Martin Luther King said, “We are all significant in God’s eye” rings truer now than ever. We are all God’s children!

It is imperative that in this moment in history we all voice our concerns at the ballot box and VOTE!

FACT:  This presidency was won by 5 Million more Democratic votes than Republican.
This is roughly the equivalent of ND, SD, IOWA, IDAHO AND KANSAS’s combined Republican votes for President.

The Electoral (so far) is:

290 for Democrats and

217 for Republicans

We hope people will work together to solve America’s problems and not create more!

Lastly, please check out a collage we created to represent some of our friends and families that demanded “We the People…Means all of U.S.” be recognized as a call for community.

FAMILY

We’d like to acknowledge that some of our members are dealing with health issues that may concern us all.
We wish them a speedy recovery so we can continue our business in order to enrich all of our lives.
As our mission states, we will continue to support each other.

We are back! we have made great progress against the war on Covid-19.  The last two years have hopefully taught us that no one is fully protected from viruses.  Everyone has worked hard to fend off its effects.  The CDC and drug manufacturers have put together a framework to manage and prevent more serious outcomes.  Vaccines, protocols and data have all contributed to substantially lessening deaths and more manageable methods to stay out of the hospital.  In this case, science and the human spirit met this crisis tentatively but eventually prevailed.  Moreover, all of us learned that everyone is valued and significant in this society.  Therefore, affirming everyone’s position in a societal community as needed and vital.  The most basic functions were highlighted to emphasize how intricate and fragile our society depends on each other for safety and a healthy and productive environment.  Take a moment to be grateful and pay it forward to a fellow human being in need. That’s our duty as co-inhabitors of this mother earth.

We stand with Ukraine.

Continue to be involved in our earth’s and country’s development.
Watch the Jan 6 hearings.

We The People means all of U.S.

Good Friends. Well Wishes!
